Professional Development for Educators
NeuroKind Education delivers professional development tailored for teachers, school staff and students across Queensland. All of our sessions are custom tailored to meet eduators where they are; be it at the very beginning or already with a solid base knowledge of neurodiversity
Co-Founded by psychiatrist and neurodiversity advocate Dr. Dominique Hannah, our training combines clinical expertise with lived experience.
Our school-based PD sessions focus on:
Understanding neurodiversity in the classroom
Supporting student mental health and emotional wellbeing
Building empathy-driven, inclusive learning environments
Meeting QCT Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements
NeuroKind seminars and professional development sessions are delivered by two experienced facilitators: Dr. Dominique Hannah and Hannah McLaughlin. While both facilitators lead sessions across Queensland, all content is developed and overseen by Dr. Hannah—a psychiatrist with over 20 years of clinical experience in child, adolescent, and family mental health. This ensures that every seminar reflects the latest in evidence-based practice, is trauma-informed, and remains grounded in both lived experience and clinical insight.
All of our programs are also offered digitally through zoom, to ensure that regardless of location od scheduling schools have access to our services
